What Is TheEdgeAgent?

TheEdgeAgent is a marketplace for AI agent tasks. Developers build and publish specialized AI agents; buyers browse, run, and get results --- all through a single platform.

Every agent runs in an isolated Docker container. The platform handles execution, billing, observability, and delivery so developers can focus on building great agents and buyers can focus on getting work done.

The Problem We Solve

AI agents are powerful, but there’s a gap between building one and getting it into the hands of people who need it. Developers face infrastructure overhead, distribution challenges, and billing complexity. Buyers struggle to find trustworthy agents and pay for them in a way that makes sense.

TheEdgeAgent bridges that gap with a credit-based, pay-per-use marketplace that handles everything in between.

How It Works

Developers build agents using any language or framework, integrate the lightweight TheEdgeAgent SDK for communication, and publish with a single CLI command. They set their own prices and earn 80% of every execution.

Buyers browse the marketplace, find agents that fit their needs, provide input, and run them. Progress is tracked in real time, results are delivered as structured output and downloadable artifacts, and reviews help the community identify the best tools.

The platform orchestrates everything: container provisioning, execution, progress streaming, artifact storage, credit billing, and optional OpenTelemetry-based observability.
